Adventure IO COVID-19 Info and Cancellation Policy

On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak of a novel coronavirus (SARS CoV-2), and it’s associated disease (COVID-19), to be a global pandemic. Since then, the outbreak has evolved rapidly with governments around the world taking swift action to slow the spread of COVID-19.

As a company, Adventure IO has been trying to strike the balance between navigating safely through this pandemic and maintaining a healthy outdoor community. Small-group outdoor activities are beneficial to mental and physical health and, when done with the right precautions, are currently much safer than indoor activities. All Adventure IO Guides and users conducting in-person Adventures are strongly encouraged to follow the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for reducing the probability of transmitting or acquiring COVID-19. These guidelines include physical distancing, universal masking and proper hand- and shared-equipment sanitizing procedures. AIO is providing the below COVID-19 Operating Guidelines and Cancellation Coverage for COVID-19 under our extenuating circumstances policy to help protect our community.
